We are hosting a charity fundraiser event in Dan McAllister’s name on the 2nd of August. As many of you will know this is the day before his birthday so it has fallen upon us to do our upmost to help the cause through an event like this, and also have a great time for his birthday, as he would have wanted for us.

The day will consist of a variety of activities:

* 5-a-side football tournament
* Bake sale
* Book sale
* Raffle

For those that are wanting to play in the tournament please drop me a message with your team size and name. Likewise, with the cricket game, message me if you are interested in playing. For the raffle, we’re asking if you kind folk could possibly get hold of anything from your workplaces, such as bar tabs, vouchers, free entry, etc. Anything you can get your hands on would be great to add as a prize for the raffle. If you manage to get hold of something please message James Boreman to let us know. Finally, if you’re wanting to be involved in the bake sale please message Kate.

We’d like anyone and everyone to be attending, so if you could spread the word by giving the event a quick share it would be hugely appreciated.

This is the plan so far, but it’s not set in stone, as we’re still open for more ideas from you guys. So if you have any ideas for more things we could pursue, drop myself or Kate McAllister a message on here. Additionally, prices for the day are yet to be decided, so watch this space for more information over the next few weeks.
