As many of you remember, last year we held a fundraiser for SToRMS and a celebration of Dan’s birthday at Silverdale School. We are sure you will agree, it was an amazing day and the beginning of a tradition we aim to continue annually.

This years event is focused on music.

This is a theme very close to our hearts, as from a young age Dan was a musician. After being given a tin drum at the age of 2, Dan developed a love and a talent for playing, writing, and performing, which was expressed throughout his life.
This year, we want to make him proud by holding a day of live music and performances from local bands.
Dan was known for listening to anything from Michael Buble, to Busta Rhymes, to The Beatles, to Johnny Cash, so in true Dan style we want to showcase a variety of genres and sounds across the day.

The event will be held at YellowArch studios, on Sunday 31st July from 12pm to 7pm.

Tickets are £3 on the door, and there will also be stalls, a bake sale, a raffle, and games within the venue, alongside an indoor and outdoor acoustic stage (lets hope for good weather!!)

There will be live music every half an hour, so come down and show your support!

Although this event is a fundraiser for SToRMS and a celebration of Dan’s birthday, it will also act as an awareness initiative. One of our core aims is to break the silence surrounding suicide, so we want this event to start conversation and show that we can only Survive Suicide Together. All the proceeds raised will go towards the funding of suicide prevention workshops provided by ourselves and Papyrus.
